Criteria – Must be a Bicycle Shop level bike – Came from a bicycle shop, Not a department store (Wal Mart, Target, Sams, Academy, Dick’s, etc)
Must be in good condition – we will check the serial number, if bicycle is damaged, we take value off the trade.
The Trade Value will be given from Bicycle Blue Book. There are 4 values given from Like New to Fair. We will start with the Fair price* for a trade in. We expect to sell it for the like New Price** or close to. It also gives you an idea of what you may expect if you sold it yourself.
*If the bicycle needs work (tubes, tires, grips, pedals, chain, etc.) we take the value of parts needed off of the Fair price.
** each market is different, Bicycle Blue Book is a general rule for bicycle values. Example: Your bad ass 26″ full suspension mountain bike isn’t worth much in this area as it may be elsewhere. 26″ wheels are essentially dead and harder to sell used.

Our service staff has over 44 years combined experience and is professionally trained by Our Owner and UBI Certifed Bicycle, Advanced Wheel Building and Supension Technician (United Bicycle Institute) to work on all bicycle makes and models, not just the ones we sell. And every member of our service team participates in training sessions with factory service techs several times each year. So, whether it’s a minor tune-up or a major overhaul, you can count on us to do the job right the first time, every time.
ESTIMATES ARE ALWAYS FREE
When you bring in your bike for service, we always start with a free, no-obligation estimate of the work that’s needed. We do however, once a service decision is made, require atleast 50% of the cost of the repair up front. This helps keep our limited storage efficient. You typically remember to pick something up that you paid for.
WALK-INS ARE WELCOME
Getting ready for a ride and discovered that a tire’s gone flat? Did you hit a pot hole and knock your rim out of true? Sometimes you can’t plan when your bike needs attention. Why not bring it in? If we can fix it on the spot, we will. And if we need more time, we’ll let you know when to stop by to pick it up. Come in, call or e-mail us soon so we can make that important repair or adjustment and get you back on your bike ASAP.
3-5 Day turn around on most repairs
You will never have to leave you bike for 2 weeks for a flat tire. Flat tires are done while you wait, unless you have errands to run, then it will be ready to go once you return. We always have someone on staff to repair all of your bicycle needs, no matter how big or small. Most typical repairs take 3-5 business days. If we need to order parts, most of our parts are delivered Tuesday and Thursday.

Why do you ride:
I ride to get back with nature, view the world the way it was intended, outside. Allows me to stay fit and push my own personal limits. I always think better on the bike also.
What is your favorite trail:
Marion Sansom Park. It has so much to offer in the DFW area. It is easily the best trail around. It’s not for the new riders, Go with someone who has been. But PLEASE, ride it enough to be able to enjoy every aspect of this fantastic trail, you won’t be disappointed.

Why that bike:
I may own a bicycle shop and as much as I love bikes, I love having 1 bike, the right tool for any job. I don’t have to re-adjust between a cross country rig, all mountain rig, single speed etc. Just like my Subaru, It lets me go anywhere and do anything on any trail. I’m never lacking in what the bike can handle and am constantly surprised at what it can handle or how much more it wants to be pushed. It climbs like a Cannondale Scalpel Carbon, Descends like a Jekyll enduro rig. Super comfy for an all day ride on any terrain. Light and nimble enough for the cross country circuit. Its simply.. Bad Ass.
What is your next bike:
2015 GT Grade aluminum or carbon custom spec with SRAM Rival or Force. A go anywhere do anything road/gravel/cross bike. I love having one bike I can do multiple things with.
“Claim to fame”:
I was the guy who launched off the water gardens in Fort Worth on a downhill bike multiple times, cleared the staircase set by the court house and the 2 sets of stairs in front of the sorority house at TCU… in a Hawaiian shirt… and a Monkey (bonzai) strapped to my handlebars. Those experiences taught me to stare fear in the face, understand the risks, then forget its even there. However, I still know my limits.
What is your expertise:
I am a jack of all trades (web design, video creator/editor, image design, marketing, mobile geek, tech junkie, construction, fabrication, welder, electrician, plumber, writer, among many more), Master of one – Bicycle maintenance. Anything suspended fascinates me with how it works, the pivots, angles. How it all comes together to give you the ride of your life.

a perfectly dialed in 2013 Fit Eddie 3 built for tearing up the skate park.
Why those bikes: I have been riding single speed bikes since the beginning of time. It's what I am most comfortable and fastest with.
What is your next bike: I think my next bike will be something full suspension, maybe a Cannondale Scalpel Carbon because I WANNA GO FAST!
Claim to Fame: I am the guy on the trail who's bike you can hear but not catch up to. The guy that will also 360 his 29er.

Marion Sansom Park – Intermediate/Expert trail. Pay to play, meaning if you want to go down, you have to climb back out. If you can ride here, you can ride anywhere in Texas. BEST Trail in DFW! Do yourself a favor and ride it enough so that you CAN enjoy it. You won’t regret it.
Gateway Park – easier trail with Beginner/Intermediate terrain
